প্ৰতি বছৰৰ দৰে এই বছৰো বৃক্ষ নামৰ পাৰিপাৰ্শ্বিক বেচৰকাৰী সংস্থাটোৱে “বৃক্ষৰ ডাইমণ্ড ডে ২০২০” পালন কৰে। এই দিনটোতে বৃক্ষ ই প্ৰকৃতি আৰু সমাজৰ নীৰৱ সাধক সকলক স্মৰণ কৰি তেওঁলোকৰ নামত গছ পুলি ৰোপণ কৰে। বৃক্ষই এইবাৰ গুৱাহাটীৰ চচলত অৱস্থিত পিপলছ ফৰ দি এনিমলছ চেণ্টাৰ নামৰ বেচৰকাৰী সংস্থাটোৰ চৌহদত সম্পূৰ্ণ সামাজিক দূৰত্ব বৰ্তাই ৰাখি এই “বৃক্ষৰ ডাইমণ্ড ডে ২০২০” পালন কৰে।
কৰ’ণা ভাইৰাছ মহামাৰীয়ে গোটেই বিশ্বতে সন্ত্ৰাসৰ সৃষ্টি কৰিছে। প্ৰাকৃতি আৰু মানুহৰ মাজৰ সামঞ্জস্য হেৰুৱাই পেলোৱাৰ উপক্ৰম হোৱাৰ সম্ভাৱনাই দেখা দিছে। এনে সময়তে মানুহে পৃথিৱীৰ অন্যান্য জীৱৰ কথাও চিন্তা কৰাৰ সময় আহি পৰিছে। এই উদ্দেশ্যে বৃক্ষই peoples for the animals center ৰ চৌহদত এইবাৰ দুটা গছ পুলি ৰোপণ কৰে। এটা কৰ’ণা ভাইৰাছৰ বিৰুদ্ধে দিনে – ৰাতিয়ে কাম কৰি থকা দেশৰ স্বাস্থ্য কৰ্মী সকলক উৎসাহ যোগোৱাৰ বাবে তেওঁলোকৰ নামত “CORONA FIGHTERS’ TREE” নামেৰে আৰু আনটো বন্যপ্ৰাণীৰ বাবে নীৰৱে সেৱা আগবঢ়াই অহা Wildlife Biologist যশস্বী ৰাওৰ নামত “যশস্বী ট্ৰি” নামেৰেএটা গছপুলি ৰোপণ কৰে। এইবাৰৰ “বৃক্ষ ডাইমণ্ড ডে ২০২০” ৰ অফিচিয়েল থীম আছিল “Love Nature and Win Over the Chinese Virus” ।
এই অনুষ্ঠানৰ পাছত, বৃক্ষ আৰু পিপলছ ফৰ এনিমলছৰ team members সকলে, সেই অঞ্চলত lockdown ৰ বাবে ভোকতে অনাই – বনাই ঘুৰি ফুৰা বাটৰ কুকুৰ আৰু অন্য জন্তুক সু-খাদ্য খুৱাই।
আজিৰ এই দিনজোৰা কাৰ্যসূচীত বৃক্ষৰ সাধাৰণ সম্পাদক শেৱালী কলিতা, সদস্য দিব্য জ্যোতি দাস, পিপলছ ফৰ দি এনিমেলছ ৰ সাধাৰণ সম্পাদক হিমজ্যোতি ডেকা, স্বেচ্ছাসেৱক হিতেশ কলিতা, অৰ্চনা দাস, আমিনুল আলি উপস্থিত থাকে।
“BRIKSHA’s Diamond Day 2020” Celebrated

Likewise every 1st April, this year also BRIKSHA Save Trees Save Children, an Environmental NGO has organized a-day long “BRIKSHA’s Diamond Day 2020” today by doing plantation and stray dogs feeding program at People’s for Animals Center, Guwahati premises.
In this corona virus pandemic situation by maintaining the proper social distance, #BRIKSHA has planted and naming two saplings which are #YASHASWITREE, on the name of Wildlife researcher and Biologist and another is as “CORONA FIGHTERS TREE” on the name of our health workers to encourage their work in this pandemic situation. After the plantation program, the team members of BRIKSHA and Peoples For the Animals Center were feeding the hungry stray animals of that area which are wondering with empty stomach in the lockdown period.
The main purpose of “BRIKSHA’s Diamond Day” celebration is to start new plantation campaign to remember the silent workers towards the Nature and the society. The day traditionally began at the starting of the Spring in every year on 1st April. This year the theme of the day was “Love Nature and Win over the Chinese Virus”.
Corona virus pandemic teaches us to care about our mother nature. We are at a critical moment in history. Environmentally, we are destroying our planet at an unprecedented rate. The natural resources that we—and millions of other animal and plant species—rely on for our very survival are gravely threatened. So we need to make a balance between mother nature and human.
This day long program was carried under the guidance of Sangita Goswami, President Peoples for animals and General Secretary BRIKSHA, Sewali Kalita with the help of BRIKSHA’s Member Dibya Jyoti Das, Him Jyoti Deka general secretary Peoples for animal , volunteers Hitesh Kalita, Archana Das, Aminul Ali, and Hamid Ali.
Through this awareness Plantation ampaign, BRIKSHA is requesting people to grow more trees for a pollution free environment
